During the first ten days of the month (June 1-10, 2022), China's leading metallurgical enterprises, members of the industry association CISA, smelted 22.8865 million tons of steel and produced 21.7196 tons of finished rolled products.
The average daily steel production for the specified period amounted to 2.2886 million tons - 1.32% less compared to the previous decade and 2% compared to the same period in 2021. In general, the country's volumes are estimated at 3.13 million tons of steel per day - 1.1% less than was recorded during May 21-31.
Production of finished rolled products in early June was at CISA enterprises at the level of 2.172 million tons per day on average. The decrease compared to the previous decade was 4.16%, by the first decade of June 2021 - 1.33%.
